JYJ’s Jaejoong Raises Money For Charity

JYJ’s Jaejoong had once again proved his popularity! He donated his personal accessories on a charity auction held by SBS along with the other ‘Protect the Boss‘ cast members who also donated some stuffs.

The bid started at around $172 USD for Jaejoong’s necklace and bracelets. As time goes by, the bid rapidly increased to over $900. In the end they were sold for $1,311.00 USD and it turned up to be one of the highest-priced items ever sold at a charity auction.

SBS will soon continue their charity auction by including belongings from the cast members from ‘Living Large‘, ‘The Musical‘, and ‘Deep-Rooted Tree‘. But, its not the end of his charity action...


Jaejoong continues his good deeds by donating seven tonnes of rice, sponsoring 29 children living in poverty. The amount of rice donated is enough to feed the children for a year.

Representatives were sent to the Korea Association of the Community Child Center to confirm Jaejoong’s good intention of donating seven tonnes of rice to the 29 children who were chosen by the KACCC. 20 kg of rice will be sent to them every month throughout the year.

The rice was originally received through the production conference for his SBS drama, ‘Protect the Boss‘. Fans from all over the world sent rice wreaths to show their support for the drama.
