JYJ's Jaejoong updates twitter with photo from Spain
C-Jes Entertainment recently announced that JYJ has left for Barcelona, Spain for the first stop of their European. It seems that the trio has landed safely as member Jaejoong recently updated fans of his whereabouts through Twitter.
On October 25th, Jaejoong made a series of tweets and uploaded three photos of his trip. The photos reveal Jaejoong and Junsu, along with the rest of their crew, wandering the streets of Barcelona.
JYJ’s first concert stop is on the 29th at the Poble Espanyol. They will then head to Spain’s Manga Festival after the concert. The second stop of their Europe tour will be in Berlin, Germany on November 6.

TVXQ is one of 5 top Kpop groups on NY Daily News
In the past few weeks, the American news media has written countless articles on K-pop, demonstrating just how popular K-pop has become. The ‘NY Daily News‘ recently joined in the parade and shared their top five K-pop groups in an article entitled ‘Five must hear groups’.
The article praised five K-pop groups for their unique style, dancing and vocals. These five K-pop groups are, “TVXQ,” “Super Junior,” “Big Bang,” “2PM”, and the only female group, “2NE1“.
In the article, 2NE1 were praised for their fierce style and “girl power” songs. TVXQ Changmin will try Japanese dubbing
TVXQ maknae Choikang Changmin will be trying out Japanese dubbing for the first time!!
To date, there had been no Korean artists volunteering to do Japanese subs for Korean dramas that moved their way towards Japan. Being the first to do so, Changmin will be dubbing for his first TV drama serial “Paradise Ranch“, while a special video feature of Changmin doing the dubs will also be included in the DVD set.
Till date, there has been no other artistes that have volunteered to do Japanese dubbing for their roles in their Korean dramas broadcasted in Japan. A special video featuring Changmin doing the dub will also be included the “Paradise Ranch” DVD, which will be on sale from 2 November.
Towards the dubbing, Changmin had expressed his feelings, “Although it is a difficult challenge, I don’t have any other choice. I will do my best.”

JYJ Jaejoong’s luxurious penthouse revealed through Marie Claire
The magazine editor revealed details about Jaejoong’s penthouse and said, “His home is fitting for a man in his twenties who lives alone. Further, it is a special characteristic that each space, living room, bedroom, guest room, and work room, has different concepts unique to its own. Jaejoong said that he thought it would be nice if all of the spaces were to be formed in different styles, so that even when he is home, it would feel like travelling in different places.”
He also revealed Jaejoong’s hard work ethic and dedication to his home as well as the shoot. He commented, “Jaejoong worked tremendously hard on the interior. Even though he was in the middle of filming the drama ‘Protect the Boss,’ he checked the design meticulously, and he was also good at communicating with the designer that the magazine introduced.” The editor also added, “Personally I was able to break many of the preconceived notions with regards to entertainers, and in particular idols, through this project with Jaejoong.”

[NEWS] 111020 Absence Of JYJ In Year-End Awards “A Serious Problem”
The season for year-end music awards is back. Not only will the 3 broadcasters KBS, MBC and SBS be holding their music festivals at the end of December, there are various other music awards and festivals that are being prepared for November.
The most serious problem regarding this year’s music award ceremonies is whether JYJ (Park Yoochun, Kim Jaejoong, Kim Junsu), the group formed by 3 previous members of TVXQ, will be able to perform. With their own interests at stake, ex-management company SM Entertainment had shown their disapproval over JYJ’s participation in the music awards and festivals.
In reality, if JYJ were to attend and won an award, SM Entertainment, with whom they are in a legal dispute, could refuse to participate in the event. From the organizers’ standpoint, the groups that have enjoyed huge popularity this year include f(x), TVXQ, Super Junior, as well as SNSD, who have just made their comeback. As such, they would have to bear the burden of possibly missing out on all these “big fish”.
However, it is also difficult to completely close the door on JYJ. Recently, their first Korean album “In Heaven” sold more than 300,000 copies so JYJ are more than qualified to receive invitations to music awards. The JYJ fanbase also can’t be ignored. As an example, JYJ fans have shown their collective power following successive refusals to allow them to perform on KBS “Music Bank”. If JYJ are still unable to attend the year-end awards, they will be able to raise the issue of fairness in these awards.
JYJ’s side expressed their standpoint, ”At present, they will be able to attend the award ceremonies as they do not have any overseas schedules planned after mid-November. If there are requests for discussions by the award organizers, they have the intention of attending.”
On the other hand, the Melon Music Awards will begin on 24 November and the MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Festival), organized by cable channel Mnet, will be held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 29 November. In early Deember there is the Golden Disc Awards, in mid-December the GAON Charts Awards and early next year, the Seoul Music Awards will be held.

Actor + singer Park Yoochun‘s photo taken with a Russian actress has been revealed.

JYJ member Kim Junsu have come out on top in an assessment of vocal abilities of idol groups.
Recently, a certain media agency selected and made comparisons of vocalists from 10 idol groups and began a survey on who had the best vocal ability. The results showed that Kim Junsu was selected as the best, coming out top. On the other hand, Ahn So Hee from Wonder Girls was selected as first place for the idol singer who can’t sing, followed by KARA’s Goo Hara.
The judges unanimously agreed that Kim Junsu had an outstanding ability to perfectly interpret a song and was thus chosen as the idol singer with the best vocal ability. In second place is SNSD’s leader Taeyeon, who has shown her ability through various TV drama OSTs. Also tying for second place is SISTAR’s Hyorin.

DBSK’s new Japanese single will be titled Winter [111019]
DBSK will be releasing a new Japanese single come November 30 and more details regarding said single has been revealed. The Japanese single will be titled “Winter” and will feature their very first Christmas song (besides the SMTOWN compilations) titled “Winter Rose“. In addition, they will be singing a Christmas version of “Duet”.

“We were already surprised because the tickets were sold out, but we were surprised again by JYJ’s fame when the standing sections (which could hold a capacity of thousands) became full.” An associate helping with the concert enlightened us. It really isn’t surprising! The traffic flow in all parts of the country were affected due to the fans flocking to the concert.On Oct 3rd they stopped at Sapporo, Tokyo, Osaka and many other cities on JYJs list of stops. This is their first appearance in Japan in the last five months.
They performed not only songs from “The Beginning” their worldwide album but several off their Korean album “In Heaven” as well. They even pulled out songs from the OST’s the boys had featured in. Songs such as“You Are So Beautiful” from ‘Scent of a Woman “I Found You” from ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal‘,and “Protect You” from ‘Protect the Boss‘,.
JYJ even had Ahjumma fans getting in on the action.One older fan(around 40 years old) had this to say about the boys. “I really like JYJ. I’m a housewife so on the day of the ticket site opening, I waited in front of the computer from morning to night, waiting for the site to reboot. I applied through the ticket lottery for front seats; luckily, I was given a good seat. The JYJ members are good-looking and they have a great harmony. They are also funny, which makes them even more popular.”
Some even enjoy JYJ through the sharing of other people close to him.“My daughter and wife love JYJ so inevitably, I ended up liking their music as well. The whole family left the house at 3:00 AM to watch their concert, but we couldn’t get to the front of the standing section. I’m so excited, regardless, because I got to see JYJ’s performance.“.
JYJ added, “We are so blessed to see our fans in Japan. We had mixed reviews when it was revealed that our concert would be at a spot that got affected by the earthquake, but we didn’t want to miss the chance of seeing our fans in Japan. I think it was nice of JYJ to drop by Japan and mention the Earthquake. Japanese fans are extremely loyal I have noticed. Unfortunately for them they also had bad news. JYJs management released a statment saying “Our Japanese activities are being blocked for many reasons, but through this solo concert, we were able to feel the passion and love of the countless JYJ fans. A surprise news form me to hear in the morning. When i see my twitter, so many people try to make #MA5IMUM as a trending topic... After i try to find out why and what happen exactly, There are some news tell that actually DBSK-Maximum written by the writer (Yoo Young Jin) in 2009 and it should be DBSK song back then, but it was used for 5th album comeback this year...
In reality, KYHD ( Keep Your Head Down! /WHY?!) is actually for Yunho's Solo and Maximum should be the one for their comeback song, but it was switch and KYHD isn't for yunho Solo..Well, i think KYHD become their comeback is just great and i really like the opening that says "This is Return of The King"!!! I love it soo much..>.<..
And in 15 Oct 2011, someone from youtube just upload the practice video of Maximum but using the song with 5 member voice on it!!!! IT JUST SOOO AMAZING!!! REALLY... I'm trying soo hard to hear clearly the other voice, but the one i was really amaze is in the climax part when changmin scream, it was actually junsu, changmin, and Jaejoong part to scream!!! Like in 'Wrong Number' when junsu, jaejoong, and also changmin take the scream part and i was stunned for them...AMAZING!!!!! NO ON CAN BEAT THE 5 TVXQ EVER>.<

JYJ's In Heaven surpasses 350.000 sales mark
Sales for JYJ’s “In Heaven” were unknown on the Gaon Charts until recently as JYJ’s distributor, A&G Mode, has finally become a member company of Gaon. Detailed information from the Gaon Charts revealed that JYJ managed to sell 165,000 copies of “In Heaven” just three days after its release on September 27th. This feat allowed the group to beat out top stars like KARA, Super Junior, and Infinite for the top spot on the album sales chart for the month of September.
JYJ’s ‘In Heaven’ is currently boasting a sales total of over 350,000, and their agency reported, “JYJ’s new album sold 165,000 copies within 3 days of being released, and we were unable to keep up the supply with the demands. We know that we have sold more than 350,000 to date and look forward to breaking another record.”

TVXQ will release Japanese Album TONE in Korea
[TONE] was previously released in Japan on 28 September and conquered both the Oricon Album Daily Chart and the Oricon Album Weekly Chart. Within 3 days of its release, it was selected by the Recording Industry Association of Japan and awarded as a [Platinum Album] for selling more than 250,000 copies, earning its popularity.
The album includes 9 new tracks like [B.U.T(BE-AU-TY)], [Duet], [Back to Tomorrow], as well as their previously released singles like [Why? (Keep Your Head Down)], [MAXIMUM] and [Superstar], making it a total of 13 tracks. Also, both CD only and CD+DVD versions will be available, with the music video and making footage included in the DVD.
Furthermore, on the 23rd of this month, TVXQ will be performing on stage at the [SM TOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR], which will be held in Madison Square Garden, Manhattan, New York.

JYJ’s Jaejoong Raises Money For Charity
The bid started at around $172 USD for Jaejoong’s necklace and bracelets. As time goes by, the bid rapidly increased to over $900. In the end they were sold for $1,311.00 USD and it turned up to be one of the highest-priced items ever sold at a charity auction.
SBS will soon continue their charity auction by including belongings from the cast members from ‘Living Large‘, ‘The Musical‘, and ‘Deep-Rooted Tree‘. But, its not the end of his charity action...
Jaejoong continues his good deeds by donating seven tonnes of rice, sponsoring 29 children living in poverty. The amount of rice donated is enough to feed the children for a year.
Representatives were sent to the Korea Association of the Community Child Center to confirm Jaejoong’s good intention of donating seven tonnes of rice to the 29 children who were chosen by the KACCC. 20 kg of rice will be sent to them every month throughout the year.
The rice was originally received through the production conference for his SBS drama, ‘Protect the Boss‘. Fans from all over the world sent rice wreaths to show their support for the drama.

JYJ continues to be blocked from music programs
Representatives of JYJ revealed, “We have never received an offer to perform on music programs. Even if we bring the album with us to meet them, they never call back. The album is creating waves on the Hanteo chart right now but it’s not being reflected onto the music program charts, which we find difficult to understand.”
They added, “Music programs weren’t able to give a logical and fair reason as to why they were rejecting JYJ, but it seems they just simply don’t care anymore and are acting like they don’t notice what’s going on.”
JYJ may be receiving the cold shoulder from their home country, but they are in high demand overseas as they’ve been invited to various foreign festivals and have also sold out their European tour.

Server Crashes during ticket orders for JYJ European Tour Concert
On the 10th of October, JYJ’s agency, C-Jes, announced a concert in Germany in November on the 29th and fans went crazy buying tickets until the ticket servers all crashed. JYJ’s Spanish concert also sold well, selling more than 80% of the 5,000 seats in simply three days.
An official stated, “It’s not a big entertainment company’s concert, it is JYJ’s exclusive concert and that’s why it’s more surprising. K-pop and JYJ are very popular in Europe.” Now who else wishes these awesome Kpop groups and idols had realized this SOONER?
In response to the knowledge of all this, JYJ has said, “Since it is our first time going on a European tour, we were a little nervous. Thank you for your attention and we will do our best. We are so happy that we get to spend time with our European fans.” Their song ‘Get Out’ has ranked #1 on Peru’s ‘Teen Top’ chart with 3,701 votes! WOW!!

Tohoshinki's TONE getplatinum stats in just 2DAYS!!
To achieve the Gold status in Japan, one would have to sell at least 100,000 copies of an album, while to get Platinum, at least 250,000 copies have to be sold. So, on October 9th, the Japanese record association revealed that TVXQ reached that status of Platinum by albums that were sold between January 1st to September 30th of this year.
What makes this so impressive is that the album ‘Tone’ had just been released on September 28th, which was just 2 days before the cut off date (September 30th), and was still able to sell more than 250,000 copies within 2 days, to achieve their status.
Along with their high status, they are also#3 on the Oricon weekly chart, showing that they are able to still maintain their high sales and proving their continued popularity.
TVXQ is currently in the midst of their ‘Asia Tour Fan Party‘, and plans to kick off a tour around Japan at the beginning of next year.

On the 11th of October, fans were surprised to read one of Jaejoong's recent update saying, "It seems like my Twitter was hacked. I don't know who did it but if it continues, I have no choice but to close it."

JYJ sells 350.000 of "In Heaven" so far and Gaon music chart will revealed the result soon
Gaon Chart plans to officially total and release the number of copies sold of the JYJ’s first Korean-language album In Heaven.
Gaon Chart revealed through its official homepage: “The negotiations with JYJ’s (album) distributor, A&G Modes, is currently ongoing. If we are early, then from October 10th the data for the copies sold for the month of September will be reflected.”
An affiliate of Gaon Chart revealed in a telephone conversation with Everyday Economy Star Today: “The distributor A&G Modes was not a member firm of Gaon Chart and so the tracking (of the copies sold for the chart) was impossible. Currently we are in the middle of final negotiations over the number of copies sold and reflection of that number on the chart.”
As for Gaon Chart, it draws its figures not merely from the materials from the distributor firm but also from the materials from M2M, a distribution center. JYJ is not a member company of Gaon Chart and as for the distributor firm it also does not go through M2M but rather itself directly distributes and so the tracking of the number of copies sold is not being done. Such a method of tracking has as its advantage the fact that it can show a more accurate number for the album sales as compared to the traditional Hanteo Chart because it takes into account the number of quantities distributed and returned.
On the other hand, it has become known that JYJ’s In Heaven has sold a total of 350,000 copies as of the current date of early October, according to the records of its agency.

The KBS Concert was underway today, lucky fans! I know I was outraged when they moved the free concert from NYC to New Jersey. I’m happy to see my stars arrive safely in the States though! It may be a bit late, but TVXQ fans lined up at JFK airport to welcome the two stars! The girl tugging the luggage looks really worn out, and now that I mention it they had a lot of bags lol. I hope they enjoy their time in NYC, they will be seeing a lot more of it since they’re modeling for Lacoste!

TVXQ will participate in American KPop Concert
I just get the news that TVXQ will participating in the 2011 Billboard KPOP Masters which will be held in Las Vegas, America. Beside TVXQ, there are other KPop groups such as SHINee, Beast, 4Minute, G.NA and many more that come along to surprise the American Kpop fans in Las Vegas.
The concert is sponsored by Billboard USA, Billboard Korea and MGM and will take place at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas on 25 November. The artistes are expected to showcase their hit songs.
On the hotel's homepage, the event has been advertised as "an unforgettable event as K-Pop makes history in the City of Entertainment".
